Lexar ARES DDR5 Memory Features
Lexar showcased its new ARES memory model, which has an internal speed of 7,600 MT/s and is one of the fastest models on the market. Looking at the features in detail, Lexar’s latest ARES memory modules are the A-die of SK hynix, which is known to be well-respected for both the performance and efficiency they bring onboard. Lexar ARES DDR5 memory chips support Intel XMP 3.0 technology, giving you greater control over your overclocking needs and ensuring stability in high-stress environments. For good speeds, ARES modules can reach 8,000 MT/s in CL38-48-49-100 timings and 7,600 MT/s in CL36-46-46-96.
Lexar’s ARES series is generally well equipped in terms of aesthetics. While the module has eight LED segments and 13 different lighting modes, customization can be made via the built-in Lexar Sync software.
For heat dissipation, the modules are equipped with a 1.8 mm thick aluminum-based housing. Additionally, high-quality silicone oil pads are available to ensure optimal performance under stress.
The memory kit is compatible with high-end motherboards from ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte. 8,000 MT/s speed is currently supported only by ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 APEX Encore and Z790 APEX motherboards.
Lexar ARES DDR5 Memory Price
The 32GB memory set of Lexar’s ARES memory is expected to sell for around $190. The global release date of the product is also uncertain yet.
