Intel Panther Lake Processors Come with 12-Core Xe3-LPG Graphics
Intel’s next-generation Panther Lake laptop processors with 12 Xe cores based on the next-generation Celestial Xe-LPG architecture seen.
According to leaked information, Intel’s Panther Lake-H processors will feature 50% more cores compared to the 8-core Xe graphics found in Meteor Lake and Arrow Lake processors. This means that it will offer a graphics performance that has never been seen before on laptops.
It is estimated that Panther Lake processors will use Cougar Cove P-Core and Skymont E-Core architectures and have an advanced NPU that offers 2x more AI performance compared to Lunar Lake. It is expected that TSMC’s N3 or N3E production process will be used for the iGPU unit of the processors that will be produced with the Intel 3 production process.
Intel Panther Lake processors are planned to be released in mid-2025. These processors seem to be a breakthrough in gaming and graphics performance on laptops.
