Netflix Removes Video Download Feature from Desktop App in Windows 10/11

Netflix has been making big changes to its Windows application recently. The most important of these updates is that the video download feature is being removed.

Several Reddit users shared that in recent weeks they received notifications about an upcoming update to Netflix’s desktop application. The biggest change is that after the update, users will no longer be able to download Netflix’s movies and TV shows to their computers to watch offline.

This change was also confirmed by Netflix’s current support page for Windows. Additionally, the new update will add some features such as support for watching live events, increased broadcast quality, compatibility with ad-supported plans, and so on.
