Ubisoft announced today that Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the next game in the Assassin’s Creed series, will be released worldwide on November 15. The game will be available for sale on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series Players who subscribe to Ubisoft+ or purchase the Complete Edition will be able to access the game three days early on November 12.
Developed under the leadership of Ubisoft Quebec (Assassin’s Creed Odyssey), Assassin’s Creed Shadows will take players to 16th century Japan. The emergence of new coalitions and the infiltration of corrupting foreign powers into the country have increased unrest and left the country desperate for unity and solidarity. It drags you on your way.
Players will experience the related stories of Naoe, a master Shinobi Assassin from the Iga region, and Yasuke, a powerful samurai who made his name in history. As you discover their personal stories, meet important historical figures and shape their shared destiny as they begin a new chapter for Japan.
Players can master two complementary play styles as Naoe and Yasuke, with each character having their own unique progression paths, skills, weapon options and stats. Whether it’s Naoe’s stealth skills or Yasuke’s Whether they adopt the combat prowess of the Battlefield, players will have different ways to approach objectives. With Naoe, they will experience stealth progression mechanics, using light, noise, shadow and the changing environment to avoid detection by enemies. Players will build their own spy network to uncover new areas and hunt down targets. Allies with special skills and abilities can also be recruited to assist during the mission. Creating their own customizable shelters will allow players to improve their networks and train new crews. The standard version of the game will be available for sale on new generation platforms at a price of 79.99€/$69.99, and on PCs and Macs with Apple silicon on the Mac App Store for 69.99€/$. Additionally, fans who pre-order Assassin’s Creed Shadows will receive an additional mission with any pre-ordered version. Gold, Complete and Collector’s editions of Assassin’s Creed Shadows have also been announced:
