Rumors about Valve’s next game have been floating around for a while. However, the rumors that came last week reveal strong rumors about the new game.

Tyler McVicker, a YouTube content producer who follows Valve closely, says that the game, which has been in development since 2018, is currently called Deadlock. The game, which he also said was previously called Citadel and Neon Prime, is a third-person FPS game with tower defense elements.

McVicker said that the game was originally intended to be part of Valve’s Half-Life universe. He also added that Valve has conducted closed alpha tests of Deadlock with hundreds of players and an official announcement may be made soon.

It seems that a few of the players who participated in Deadlock’s closed beta test have leaked some information about the game. There is no definitive information about when the game will be officially announced. However, we may hear official things about the game at the Summer Game Fest broadcast event to be held on June 7.
