AMD APU Processors Are Said to Use RDNA3+ by 2027
AMD Radeon GPU

At least on AMD integrated graphics processors until 2027 It will continue to use the RDNA3+ architecture. It is said that there may be other options during this period. Products using the RDNA3+ architecture have not been released yet, but if this rumor has surfaced now, we can expect to see products later this year.

There is no information yet on what improvements RDNA3+ provides over RDNA3. All new Zen 5-based APUs, namely Strix Point, Strix Halo and Kraken processors, will use the RDNA3.5 architecture. There are also rumors of RDNA4 and even RDNA5 (Navi 5). Who knows, maybe we will see RDNA4 on the scene by the end of this year and AMD will release the first discrete GPUs based on this architecture.

RDNA5 (Navi 5) was mentioned by Microsoft in confidential documents. It is stated that early negotiations were held with AMD for the special chip that will power the company’s new game console. There are also rumors about the new generation APU design called “Sound Wave”. It has been stated that this APU will probably use Zen 6 architecture for its CPU cores.
