Google Gemini will come to OnePlus and Oppo phones later this year with the Ultra 1.0 update. The statement was made by the companies at Google’s Cloud Next 2024 conference. Gemini consists of several different layers: The smallest layer is Nano, which can run on device and will be coming to Pixel 8 soon.
Ultra, on the other hand, stands out as the most capable cloud-based version that powers the Gemini Advanced chatbot. Additionally, Google Gemini Ultra will be able to provide useful answers and perform complex tasks. Besides Gemini, phones will receive certain Google Cloud AI features, but it’s unclear which ones.
Recently, OnePlus announced that its own version of Google’s Magic Eraser tool would come to some of its phones, and with this new announcement, Oppo and OnePlus seem to be continuing their artificial intelligence adventure at full speed.
