MediaMarkt April 23

Before the upcoming April 23 Children’s Day, MediaMarkt is transforming the GameZone area in its store in Istanbul Metropol AVM into a special area where children can play traditional games. The playground will offer children the opportunity to play traditional games such as marbles, five-stones, hopscotch, XOX and spinning top for 4 days starting from April 20.

Today, with the rapid development and widespread use of technology, traditional games have been replaced by digital games. Play opportunities and social contact areas where children can physically interact and communicate with their friends are also decreasing. MediaMarkt, Europe’s number one technology retailer, leads children to take a break from technology for a short time and experience traditional games, transforming the GameZone area in its store in Metropol AVM into a special area where children can play traditional games.

Between 20-23 April, MediaMarkt removed the technological products in the GameZone area of its store located in Istanbul Metropol AVM and transformed this area into a unique playground where children could play traditional games. While providing them with the opportunity to play, it also aims to help them learn traditional game culture.
