The new Apple iPad Pro with M4 chip.

As is known, Apple introduced the new generation iPad Pro with M4 chip at the Let Loose event held last week. Both the 11-inch and 13-inch models of iPad Pro are powered by the M4 chipset. Even if the M3 chipset set is released in a long time more than 6 months, the use of the m4 chips to be presented to the use of the m4 chips a development.

Geekbench scores of the M4 processor that powers the iPad Pro have been revealed and it broke a new single-core performance record in the Geekbench list. The Geekbench score reveals how fast Apple’s second-generation 3nm chips are compared to the M3, M2 and older Apple Silicon chips. According to Geekbench, the 10-core Apple M4 SoC achieved a single-core score of 3,695 and an average multi-core score of 14,550 across 10 benchmarks.

Let’s take a look at the single and multi-core performance results of the M4 Chipset compared to other chips:

chip Single Core Score Multi-Core Score
M4 3,695 14,550
M3 Max 3,128 20,957
M3 Pro 3,112 15,286
M3 3,087 11,702
A17 Pro 2,908 7,234
M2 Max 2,802 7,234
M2 Pro 2,651 14,295
M2 2,540 9,360
M1 2,272 8,208

It is obvious how high the M4 chip achieved in single core, especially compared to the M3 Max chip. Additionally, compared to the M2 processor that powered the previous-generation iPad Pro, the M4 chipset delivers 46% in single-core performance and up to 46% in multi-core performance. On the other hand, it is 55% faster.

According to Geekbench results, it is clear that Apple’s M4 processor offers 1.5 times faster CPU performance than the M2 processor that powered the previous generation iPad Pro.

It is also said that Apple will have the M4 processor in all its products, including the new MacBook, which it expects to launch towards the end of this year. New MacBook devices, whose release date is not yet clear, may meet with users in the last quarter of the year. We have a high chance of seeing these devices at Apple’s new event, which is expected to be held in September.
