Last year’s flagship Galaxy S23 series came out of the box with One UI 5.1. Samsung did not wait for the release of the devices to bring this version to other devices and released the One UI 5.1 version for devices such as Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 before the Galaxy S23 series went on sale.

Before One UI 5.1, Samsung traditionally released One U updates for older devices after the flagship they launched became available for purchase, and now with One UI 6.1, the company has returned to this tradition.

The Galaxy S24 series went on sale globally on January 31, and even though we’re into March, the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra are the only devices running One UI 6.1.

We Tried the Artificial Intelligence Features of the Galaxy S24 Series

However, we should point out that those who have Galaxy smartphones and tablets suitable for One UI 6.1, which will bring artificial intelligence features, will not have to wait any longer. As Samsung stated in a press release in February, the update will begin rolling out to select devices this month.

These devices include the flagship phones and tablets that Samsung launched in 2023 (S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5 and Tab S9 series). Finally, we would like to point out that it is unclear whether more devices will be added to this list.
