Intel Z890 Motherboards Come with Onboard Thunderbolt 4 Support, Here are the Details of the Arrow Lake Series

New information continues to come about Intel’s Arrow Lake-S Core Ultra 200 desktop processors and the 800 series motherboards that will accompany them. According to recent leaks, motherboards equipped with the top-end Z890 chipset will offer onboard Thunderbolt 4 support, and the new processors will experience a significant jump in integrated graphics performance.

The Arrow Lake-S desktop processor family will start with Core Ultra 5 and extend up to Core Ultra 9. “K” series (i.e. overclockable) models such as Core Ultra 7 265K and Core Ultra 5 245K are expected, with Core Ultra 9 285K at the top level.

The new processors will come with integrated graphics units based on the Alchemist Xe-LPG graphics architecture. The top-end models will feature 4 Xe cores, which, although half the size of Meteor Lake processors, will still offer a significant performance increase over previous generations.

According to leaks, each Lion Cove P-Core will have 3 MB L3 cache. Skymont clusters consisting of 4 E-cores will have a total of 3 MB L3 cache. This indicates 36 MB cache in the top-end 24-core processor, 33 MB in the 20-core processor and 24 MB in the 6 + 8-core models.

Let us also say that motherboards with the new generation Z890 chipset will offer many innovations such as faster memory support as well as built-in Thunderbolt 4 support. Don’t forget to express your thoughts about these exciting developments in the comments section.
