While there are still months left for the launch of the iPhone 16 series, a new rumor has emerged about the iPhone 17 series, which will be released in the autumn of next year. According to Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu, the iPhone 17 series will welcome us with a renewed design as well as a smaller Dynamic Island.
The smaller Dynamic Island will be made possible by a new metalens technology that will help Apple significantly reduce the size of the Face ID sensor. Allegedly, the iPhone 17 will come with a 6.1-inch screen, while the 17 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch panel and the Pro Max will be 6.9 inches.
According to Pu, Slim will replace Plus in the 17 series and iPhone 17 Slim will have a 6.6-inch screen. The same source claims that the 17 Slim and 17 will come with the A18 or A19 chip and 8GB of RAM, while the Pro and Pro Max will use the A19 Pro and 12GB of RAM.
