iPadOS 18 mobile operating system for iPad tablets announced by Apple during the WWDC 2024 developer event introduced. Here are the iPadOS 18 features.

iPadOS 18 Features

The iPadOS 18 Home Screen now has a new floating tab bar that lets you navigate to different parts of an app. The tab bar will be able to turn into a sidebar and you will be able to customize the tab bar so that you can easily access your favorites. The tab bar will be available in applications on the system, and a new document browser will also be available. Improved animations in the user interface will become even more responsive and there will be APIs where developers can integrate new animations.

SharePlay involves touching and drawing on the screen while sharing the screen, and you will be able to control someone’s iPad or iPhone remotely.

And a great innovation! Calculator is finally coming to iPad screens. The app will also include history and unit conversions. There’s even a new Math Notes feature when used with Apple Pencil.

You will be able to write the expressions by hand. For example, when you type the equal sign, the application will automatically calculate the answer and show the answer in handwriting like yours. Basic or scientific mathematics can also be used. Notes can be saved for later use. You will be able to automatically collect a list of numbers by drawing a line under them. Even variables that allow you to solve algebraic equations are supported. You can even create a chart. At least it seems like it will be worth the wait.
