So what does HONOR Magic V2 offer with its features and price?
HONOR Magic V2 Features
The Chinese company’s new foldable smartphone has the most powerful hardware of the past year. On the chipset side, the phone comes with Qualcomm-produced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It has one ARM Cortex-X3 main core running at 3.2 GHz and two ARM Cortex-A710 and ARM Cortex-A715 auxiliary cores running at 2.8 GHz. In addition, for efficiency, the chipset has 3 ARM Cortex-A510 cores running at 2.0 GHz.
When it comes to other details, the device has Adreno 740 GPU and 16 GB standard RAM. In addition, the models offered for sale in our country have 256 and 512 GB storage space.

The most important points of foldable phones are the screens and screen types used. HONOR preferred OLED screens both inside and outside with the Magic V2 model. These displays commonly offer a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In addition, they can produce 1.07 billion colors and have a DCI-P3 wide color gamut.
While the inner, main screen is 7.92 inches in size, the outer screen is 6.43 inches in size. The resolution of the inner screen is 2344×2156 and the outer screen is 2376×1060. So we can say that quite high resolutions were preferred.
Additionally, we should point out that the main screen supports brightness up to 2400 nits and both screens have a 3840Hz PWM Dimming rate.

HONOR Magic V2 has three rear cameras. The first of these is the wide-angle main camera with 50 MP resolution. The camera in question offers OIS (optical image stabilizer) support and comes with a Sony-made IMX800 sensor. Let’s add that this camera, which supports 60 FPS video recording at 2160p, that is, 4K resolution, also has a 27mm focal length.
The second rear camera of the device is an extra wide-angle camera with 50 MP resolution. This camera offers features such as autofocus and macro shooting. When we come to the third camera, we see the telephoto camera with 20 MP resolution. Offering OIS (optical image stabilizer) support like the main camera, this camera has 2.5x optical zoom and 40x digital zoom capabilities.
The front cameras of the device offer 16 MP resolution. The video resolution of the cameras that can record 2160p 4K is 30 FPS.
Battery
A smartphone with a large or even dual screen also needs a large battery. HONOR has managed to fit a 5000 mAh battery in the Magic V2 model. This battery also offers 66W fast charging support.
Connection Options
Although Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is last year’s flagship chipset, it supports current connection options. These include Wi-Fi 7 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be), Bluetooth 5.3 and of course 5G.
The phone provides wired connection through the USB Type-C port with USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard.
