Electronic Arts and BioWare are introducing players to their adventures in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a brand new, single-player RPG experience coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in the fall of 2024. previewed a new cinematic trailer, introducing the cast of companions that will be included. Dragon Age: The Veilguard features rich storytelling, fluid and strategic battles, camaraderie and brotherhood and It is being developed with the aim of providing a brave and heroic adventure shaped by the importance of decisions. In this new chapter of the beloved saga, players take on Dragon Age’s new hero, Rooka, who fights on the front lines alongside a fully customizable cast of extraordinary heroes known as the Veilguard. Each companion in Dragon Age: The Veilguard brings their own expertise to the battlefield and provides the courage to unite and face impossible challenges. Throughout their adventures, players can create different team combinations with two of the seven total companions in the game, adapting to specific missions and creating powerful synergies that can turn the tide of any battle. The game’s companion roster is as follows:
- Bellara: A creative and romantic Veil Jumper who is obsessed with uncovering ancient secrets.
- DavrinÂ: A brave and charming Gray Warden who has gained fame as a monster hunter.
- Emmrich: A necromancer from the Mourn Watch of Nevarra, complete with his skeletal sidekick Manfred.
- Harding: A dwarf scout with a big heart, positive outlook, arrow at the ready, and unique magical powers who returns to battle as a companion.
- Lucanis: A ready-to-go and pragmatic assassin, descendant of the House of Crows, a notorious criminal organization of Thedas.
- Neve: A cynic who struggles for a better future as both a private investigator and one of Tevinter’s rebel Shadow Dragons members.
- Taash: A dragon slayer who lives for adventure, is not afraid to take risks, and is allied with the Lords of Fortune.
