Handheld Console Move from ASUS ROG Ally 2024 is Coming

ASUS announced update plans for its popular handheld console ROG Ally. The new model, which is expected to be released under the name ROG Ally 2024, aims to provide a better gaming experience by solving some problems of the current version.

SD card incompatibility, one of the biggest problems experienced by ROG Ally users, will be resolved in the 2024 model. ASUS, on current models It is aware of this problem and repairs the consoles under warranty and refunds the cost of damaged SD cards.

The new model is not expected to include any major changes in hardware components such as the processor or graphics unit. The current ROG Ally uses the Ryzen Z1 “Phoenix” processor designed specifically for handheld consoles. It is likely that the 2024 model will continue the same processor series.

Some gamers think that ASUS may be working on a ROG Ally 2 equipped with a next-generation AMD Strix Point processor. However, if this model is realized, it is more likely to be released under the name ROG Ally 2 and with the Ryzen Z2 processor.
