MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ Introduced, Here Are Its Features
The company’s new flagship chipset Dimensity 9300+ by MediaTek introduced. So, what are the features of MediaTek Dimensity 9300+?
MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ Features
MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset offers higher clock speeds as well as improved APU compared to Dimensity 9300. The all-big-core CPU now comes with a main Cortex-X4 core clocked at up to 3.4GHz, compared to 3.25GHz on the Dimensity 9300.
The new chip, like its predecessor, is manufactured on TSMC’s third-generation 4nm+ process node and features the same ARM Immortalis-G720 GPU with ray tracing. The updated APU 790 promises a 10% performance increase in artificial intelligence tasks. Additionally, the chipset features MediaTek’s new NeuroPilot Speculative Decoding Acceleration technology. Dimensity 9300+ can run large language models (LLM) with 7B parameters at 22 coins per second.
The updated AI engine also supports a wide range of LLMs, including 01.AI Yi-Nano, Alibaba Cloud Qwen, Baichuan AI, ERNIE-3.5-SE, Google Gemini Nano, and Meta Llama 2 and Llama 3. Dimensity 9300+ also has on-device support for LoRA Fusion and NeuroPilot LoRA Fusion 2.0.
Includes MediaTek Adaptive Gaming Technology (MAGT) for improved power efficiency on chipset-supported gaming titles and optimized Wi-Fi/Cellular dual-network with up to 10% power savings for timeliness Let us note that the Network Surveillance System (NOS) has also been added.
The first smartphones with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset are planned to arrive later this month. These smartphones will be vivo X100s and iQOO Neo 9S Pro series.
