Wi-Fi 7 is the newest wireless connection technology that has started to enter our lives. Wi-Fi 7 is coming to improve on the current standard with higher data speeds, lower latency, the ability to handle more connected devices, and different improvements.
Wi-Fi 7, officially known as 802.11be, builds on the foundation laid by Wi-Fi 6E. This means that it supports 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz wireless bands. However, the Wi-Fi Alliance expects Wi-Fi 7 to deliver higher transfer speeds, reduce latency, and improve overall performance compared to Wi-Fi 6E, with various improvements. It enabled it to increase network capacity.
