DayZ Frostline is the second expansion pack for the DayZ survival game by Bohemia Interactive. announced. DayZ Frostline will introduce a new winter map that requires players to manage the temperature to survive.
Bohemia Interactive says the centerpiece of the Frostline expansion is the 83 square kilometers of Sakhal terrain that invites you to explore its rugged and desolate regions. Unlike previous locations in the game, you will play as a survivor who takes refuge on Sakhal, which is said to be safe, but you will face an unforgiving environment frozen in both time and climate. In order to survive, you have to adapt to the cold like wildlife species specific to the new region, challenge the natural conditions and see Sakhal’s attractive structures. ıni ± and you’ll need to equip winter-themed cosmetics to reveal points of interest.
Bohemia Interactive also announced that the previous expansion, Livonia, will come free with the base DayZ game upon the release of update 1.25. The update in question is currently available on test servers and is expected to be released later this month.
Thanks to backward compatibility, DayZ can be played on PC, Xbox One and PS4, as well as Xbox Series X/S and PS5 platforms. The Frostline expansion is expected to arrive in the last quarter of 2024.
