apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo‘s new report has revealed more information about Apple’s future hybrid foldable device. The report says that the company may release not one but probably two foldable devices in the first half of 2026. Supply chain findings indicate that LG will be the sole supplier of these foldable panels, and they will likely be wrinkle-free, increasing the cost.

The panel will also be assembled with a high-cost hinge, with initial estimates pointing to $600-650 for the panel alone and $200-250 for the hinge. Apple’s hinge supplier will be Amphenol.

According to Kuo, the company’s first foldable model will be launched at a price similar to the current Vision Pro, which currently starts at $3,499. Additionally, Apple plans to use an M5 series chip in both foldable devices it will introduce.
