Starship Troopers: Extermination, the movie-based first-person shooter game announced by Offworld in May 2023, was first released for PC via Steam Early Access. Now, the Starship Troopers: Extermination release date has finally been announced. The developer announced that the game will officially leave the early access process on October 11 with version 1.0. In addition, Offworld makes a surprise and the game’s on the Steam page In a post, he announced that the game will also be released on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 consoles on the same date.
Starship Troopers: Extermination’s 1.0 version for PC and consoles will include a new single-player campaign. The developers have even brought in original Starship Troopers movie actor Casper Van Dien to reprise his role as Johnny Rico in the story.
Now a general in the Mobile Infantry, Rico will give the player his orders as part of a special team sent to defeat the alien Arachnid threat. The single-player side will also feature three NPC companions who will help you defeat the bugs.
Offworld’s description is as follows: “This new game mode focuses on providing a unique single-player experience. It offers 25 different missions in various environments and a variety of unique PvE battle scenarios, and we intend to continue with a second part after the 1.0 launch.â€
