Intel Starts Investigating Gaming Stability Issues on 13th and 14th Generation Processors

Intel began investigating issues with its 13th and 14th generation processors, which affected thousands of gamers and encountered issues such as game stability. Although the first reports appeared around the time these processors were launched in 2022, the problems have come to the fore recently. It was reviewed by the tech community to determine whether the issues were caused by software or hardware.

It was learned that the problem is related to the default BIOS settings of both the 13th and 14th generation processors and motherboard manufacturers. It turned out that the BIOS settings were pushing the CPUs beyond their limits. Due to these problems, gamers are fed up with Intel’s latest processors and are is returning.

It was said that the processors consumed excessive power and reached high temperatures, thanks to this problem, which became more evident in games requiring high performance. Although Intel says it is investigating the problem, the fact that players have started to issue refunds means that it may be too late to solve the problem.

“Out of Video Memory” error was received in many game engines such as Unreal Engine. Some South Korean players are replacing their Intel processor computers with AMD Ryzen due to this problem. Many OEMs and PC manufacturers also state that they are experiencing partial losses due to customers’ refund requests.
