Apple Made a Profit of $23.6 Billion in the 2nd Quarter of 2024
Apple today reports financial results for the second fiscal quarter of 2024 explained. The company had revenue of $94.8 billion in the previous quarter and net quarter earnings of $24.1 billion, compared with $1.52 per diluted share. It had revenue of $90.8 billion in the quarter and a net quarterly profit of $23.6 billion, or $1.53 per diluted share.
The gross profit margin, which was 44.3 percent in the previous quarter, was 46.6 percent in this quarter. Apple’s board also authorized another $110 billion in share buybacks and declared an increased dividend payout from $0.24 to $0.25 per share.
