Artificial Intelligence Supported Battery Technology is Coming to Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Battery AI

Samsung is said to be working on a new artificial intelligence-supported battery technology called “Battery AI” for the Galaxy S25 series, which will allegedly increase battery life by up to 10%.

The Galaxy S24 series was introduced with Samsung’s first artificial intelligence-supported software package called Galaxy AI. Considering that new models account for 53% of the Korean giant’s operating profit in the first quarter of 2024, it can be said that these features are one of the reasons behind its popularity. However, according to a separate rumor, the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra may disappoint in terms of battery because it will have the same 5,000 mAh battery as the previous generation models. Still, Samsung plans to increase battery life by up to 10% with a feature it calls Battery AI.

Battery AI, as the name suggests, could be a smart feature integrated into the next-gen Galaxy AI that increases the overall runtime of the smartphone without affecting its performance. Software to increase battery life has been around for years, and many programs are available for both smartphones and laptops.

Unfortunately, these programs often slow down the CPU and GPU, reducing performance or doing nothing at all. Interestingly, the leaker doesn’t mention Battery AI coming to the Galaxy S25 series.
