Clipchamp Video Editor Will Be Available to Microsoft 365 Education Members in June

Microsoft first acquired Clipchamp in 2021 and has since continued to develop the video editing tool for both business and personal use. The company announced today that Clipchamp will be available for Education members next June.

Microsoft said in a blog post today. Announced that Clipchamp will be added to Microsoft 365 Education with A3 and A5 licenses starting from June 23. The company stated that teachers or students can use the Clipchamp application for multimedia projects or experiments.

Additionally, videos edited with Clipchamp can be stored in OneDrive or SharePoint account and stored and watched in the Microsoft Stream service.

The Clipchamp tool is one of many new features and improvements that are now or will be available soon for Microsoft 365 Education customers. These new features include tools that allow creating special events with artificial intelligence.

Microsoft states that many more new features and improvements will be added to the application in the later weeks of May.
