Anno 117: Pax Romana, the newest game of the Anno series for city building and management game lovers, will be at the Ubisoft Forward 2024 event. announced. In the new Anno game, players will be taken to the Roman Empire this time.
Ubisoft’s statement is as follows: “Developed by Ubisoft Mainz, the studio behind Anno 1800, Anno 117: Pax Romana will drag players to the top of the Roman Empire. “Players will explore a vast, multicultural region under the rule of the Empire and take on the role of a Governor tasked with managing the costs of keeping the peace.”
Although the gameplay has not been announced yet, Ubisoft says that the new game will have a new graphic style but will include the same humor style seen in previous games. Diplomatic and military systems return, as well as city management and deep economy systems. For the first time, Anno players will also be able to choose a starting region. These areas would become the Celtic Wetlands of Albion or traditional Roman centres.
The game will come to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms in 2025.
