Google May Offer Message Editing Feature to All Users Soon
Last year, it was reported that Google was working on the feature of editing sent messages in the Google Messages application for Android. Now it looks like this feature is available to a few test users. In this context, the message editing feature of the Google Messages application may be offered to all users soon.
A Twitter user claimed with an image shared on his profile that the message editing feature was in beta version on some devices.
Google has started testing the message editing feature in Google Messages which means it could arrive soon.
I shared about it back in February on my blog – https://t.co/gfZu1OAiHI

According to the visual, you can edit the message you have written by long-pressing on it and using the pen icon that appears at the top. We would also like to point out that there is approximately 15 minutes to edit a sent message.
While the edited message is located in the main conversation directory, users will be able to access the original version of the message from the details section. However, we must say that this feature only works if the same version is available on both devices, as in other social media applications.
It is not yet clear when this feature, which will be available in Google Messages, will be available to all users.
