It is said that with iOS 18, there will be a series of new artificial intelligence features spread throughout the operating system. A new rumor suggests that one of these features may be the Safari assistant. Known for its leaks Nicolas ÁlvarezIn his post on X, he stated that Apple is working on Safari assistant and encrypted visual search features.
According to Álvarez, both of these features use Apple’s proprietary transfer infrastructure to send data back to Apple. Álvarez thinks this is Apple’s privacy-preserving practice to avoid learning user IP addresses.
