Bethesda Game Studios promised an expansion called Shattered Space to people who purchased the high-end versions when Starfield pre-orders began. Now it has been announced that the Starfield: Shattered Space expansion pack will arrive in the fall.

There is no more information yet about what the expansion will be about. There is a high probability that we will get more information at Microsoft’s Xbox Game Showcase event, which will be held in early June.
Long before the expansion was released, Howard stated that “a major update for Starfield is coming very soon.” It is stated that this update will be related to ship construction, but it seems that we will have to wait for the official statement from Bethesda.
Howard also stated that the Creation Kit promised for Starfield, which will officially support the mods in the game, has been sent to some mod developers.
