In its announcement shared on X, Meta announced the date for the Meta Connect 2024 event. explained. The company stated that the event will be held on September 25-26 and will “explore the future of artificial intelligence and mixed reality.”

Last year, Meta introduced its new Meta Quest 3 headset and Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses at the event. The event is expected to be even more intense this year. In April, Meta unveiled a limited edition Xbox-inspired Quest title and announced that it would rebrand Quest OS as Meta Horizon OS. Additionally, the company has opened up the operating system to third parties and said both Lenovo and ASUS are working on AR devices. Leaks even point to a more affordable Quest 3S title.
