Wacom launches its first OLED screen graphics tablet called Movink introduced. The product is the company’s thinnest and lightest option yet while still offering 13 inches of workspace.

Wacom Movink Features

Movink features a Samsung-made OLED panel, full HD resolution with 10-bit color and a 100,000:1 contrast ratio. According to Wacom, it claims to offer “perfect black point” thanks to the qualities of OLED. Because color accuracy is so important to artists, Movink covers 100 percent DCI-P3 and 95 percent of Adobe RGB with a Delta E difference of 2 or less. The company notes that the pen display is factory calibrated to industry standards and stores up to two custom color profiles. Additionally, the display is verified by both Pantone and Pantone SkinTone, with further calibration available in the Wacom Color Manager.

Wacom says Movink has the fastest response time of all pen displays and offers increased pen sensing height. The company also promises that there will be no fluctuation or light leakage, and the device runs cooler and quieter than other models. Movink has two customizable buttons on its slim bezel for quick access to the tools you use most, and it’s also a touchscreen.

Wacom says the Movink is the thinnest and lightest graphics tablet ever made, weighing just 420 grams and measuring 4 millimeters at its thinnest point. The screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass and its body is made of magnesium alloy.

Movink ships with a specially designed version of the Pro Pen 3 that Wacom says provides the same experience as in the Cintiq Pro display series. More specifically, the Pro Pen 3’s sensitivity and tilt detection feature can help with everything from detailed digital painting to fine line work. Wacom has improved the pen tip design to increase visibility, improving the overall drawing experience. Nib remover and spare nibs are included in the pen.

You can also use Wacom’s UD pens from the One series devices and older versions of the Movink and Pro Pen. The display is compatible with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and Android. It can also be connected to your laptop or desktop machine with a single USB-C cable.
