Xiaomi 14 Ultra Features
Xiaomi continues its Leica collaboration with the most up-to-date hardware in its 14 Ultra models, which attract attention with their features. The new smartphone gets its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile chipset. The chipset in question has 1 ARM Cortex-X4 main core running at 3.3 GHz, while there are 2 ARM Cortex-A720 cores running at 3.0 GHz. and is accompanied by 3 ARM Cortex-A720 auxiliary performance cores running at 3.2 GHz. Also, on the efficiency side, let us note that there are 2 ARM Cortex-A520 cores running at 2.3 GHz. The GPU responsible for the graphics load in the chipset is Adreno.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra is a high-end phone. For this reason, we expect it to offer the features of its class on the memory and storage side. However, Xiaomi 14 Ultra offers some high-end features that are not yet standard. One of these is 16 GB LPDDR5X memory support. The amount of 16 GB memory, which is now the standard of today’s computers, is starting to become the standard in mobile devices with Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Additionally, we should point out that the device also has a model with 12 GB LPDDR5X memory.
When we come to the storage side, we see 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB options. As on the memory side, Xiaomi has chosen top-level features on the storage side. The storage units in question offer very high read-write and IOPS values with UFS 4.0.
Screen
Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes with a 6.73 inch screen using a Samsung AMOLED panel. While the screen in question offers a resolution of 1440×3200 (QHD+), its pixel density is at 522 PPI. When we come to the screen refresh rate, we see dynamic 120 Hz support.
Thanks to its AMOLED screen, the screen offers 12-bit color depth and can display 68 billion colors. This value reveals that when we consider 10-bit displays, it can display almost 64 times more colors. Additionally, as an advantage of the AMOLED screen, the Always-on Display feature is also offered in Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
Xiaomi states that the successful screen has 1000 nits HBM and 3000 nits peak value in terms of brightness. We also see that Xiaomi Shield Glass is used on the protection side.
Camera
The most striking point of Xiaomi 14 Ultra is undoubtedly its cameras. Thanks to the collaboration with Leica, the devices use specially designed lenses.
When we look at the main camera, we see the Sony Lytia LYT900 sensor that offers 50 MP resolution. This sensor is accompanied by an 8-element Leica SUMMILUX lens group. The camera in question offers an aperture of f1.63 (maximum f4.0) and a focal length of 23mm. When it comes to the video side, it can shoot 4320p, that is, 8K. The FPS value in these shots is limited to 30. However, if you wish, you can record 60 FPS and 120 FPS in 2160p, that is, 4K.
The main camera also offers EIS (digital image stabilizer) and OIS (optical image stabilizer) support for video shooting. In this way, flickering and small movements in the image can be dampened.
The second camera is an extra wide angle camera with 50 MP resolution. This camera, based on Sony Exmor IMX858, has a 7-element lens. We should point out that the camera, which offers a 112-degree angle, supports EIS (digital image stabilizer) and is also used for macro shots.
The third camera on the device is a telephoto camera with 50 MP resolution. This camera, which is based on Sony Exmor IMX858 as in the wide-angle camera, has EIS (digital image stabilization) and OIS (optical image stabilization) support, as in the main camera. It does. Equipped with a 6-element lens, the camera offers a 32.5 degree angle and 75mm focal length. Additionally, the camera in question can perform 3.2x optical zoom.

The camera, which has an angle of 20.8 degrees, has a focal length of 120mm and can also take 30cm macro shots.
Let’s come to the front of the device. There is a selfie camera on the front of Xiaomi 14 Ultra with a resolution of 32 MP. This camera can record 2160p (Ultra HD) 4K 60 FPS video and has features such as portrait mode support and virtual flash. We should point out that the camera, which also has EIS (digital image stabilizer) support, allows 90-degree angle selfie shots.
Battery
As you can see, Xiaomi 14 Ultra is a very powerful smartphone with the hardware it offers. For this reason, it also needs a powerful battery. Xiaomi has managed to fit a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh into the new device. This battery has 90W fast charging support and promises a full charge from 0 to 100% in 33 minutes. In addition, Xiaomi 14 Ultra also offers 80W fast wireless charging support and can be fully charged from 0 to 100% wirelessly in 46 minutes.
Connection Options
Coming with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, one of Qualcomm’s most up-to-date platforms, Xiaomi 14 Ultra includes the most up-to-date wireless technologies. The device comes with Wi-Fi 7 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be), which is the most up-to-date wireless internet technology that is just starting to enter our lives.
