This is 60 times faster than the first Neural Engine in the A11 Bionic. Accelerators in the CPU, high-performance GPU and neural engine make the M4 an extremely powerful chip for artificial intelligence. The neural engine in M4 is touted as more powerful than any neural processing unit in today’s computers.
