The Galaxy S20 series, which consists of the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra, would now be missing monthly security updates as they have passed Samsung’s promised software support timeline.

However, the company did not completely cut off software support for these models and decided to continue releasing security patches for these phones for a while. The Korean brand has put the S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra on a quarterly update schedule and will release security updates for these phones every three months.

However, it is unclear how long this S20 trio will continue to receive security patches from Samsung. Finally, we would like to point out that the S20 FE is among these models and it is not yet clear whether it will be added to the quarterly update program.
