Adobe announced that it plans to add productive artificial intelligence features to its Premiere Pro video editing suite later this year. The new tools are based on Adobe’s Firefly AI model, as well as partnerships with some popular AI companies such as OpenAI, Pika Labs, and Runway ML. will endure.
Premiere Pro Gets Powered by Firefly and Other Artificial Intelligence Models
New Firefly video features for Premiere Pro will include the ability to add or remove objects from video clips using natural language commands. Users will also be able to increase the length of the video footage by enabling the AI model to generate additional semantically consistent content. All videos created by these tools will be automatically tagged with Adobe’s Content Credentials, providing transparency about which parts were created by AI.

- Text to Video: Create completely new footage directly in Premiere Pro. Just type prompt text or upload reference images.
One of the most anticipated integrations will be with OpenAI Sora. As you know, it has recently gained popularity in creating high-resolution, photorealistic images and videos from text commands. By providing direct access to Sora and other third-party models, Adobe will give users a much broader range of productive tools to choose from.
In May, Adobe will also introduce an improved audio workflow in Premiere Pro. The company says users will benefit from more powerful and intuitive tools to control every aspect of audio.
Although Adobe did not announce a specific release date, it did confirm that its new productive video editing tools will be released later this year. Pricing details are not clear yet.
