Samsung has launched new versions of its EVO Select and EVO Plus microSD cards with faster speeds than their previous versions. announced. When purchasing an EVO Select or EVO Plus card with a storage capacity of 128 GB and above, this card will also support the A2 standard for running smartphone applications stored directly on it. The new models also support the V30 standard for fast transfer of video files. Additionally, this microSD series is resistant to water, extreme temperatures, x-rays, wear, drops and magnetic shocks.

Samsung also plans to launch 1TB versions of its EVO Select and EVO Plus microSD cards for the first time. The company said it added these options because consumers want more storage for keeping games on portable gaming PCs like Steam Decks, storing more video from smartphones, and more. On the other hand, 1TB models are not yet on sale but will be released later this year.
