M2 iPad Air and M4 iPad Pro Come with New Battery Health Menu
On M2 iPad Air and M4 iPad Pro models, Apple offers Battery Health menu options in the Settings application, which were previously limited to iPhone 15 smartphones only.
iCultureAccording to the news, on the new iPad tablets, under Settings > Battery > Battery Health menu, select Maximum Capacity, Number of Cycles and 80% Limited charge optimization. their talents are listed. Users can also see details about when the battery was produced and when it was used for the first time.
Let’s note that the 80% Limit is separate from the Optimized Battery Charging feature found on previous iPhones. This feature learns the daily charging routine of the device and intelligently postpones charging above 80% until a more suitable time. Once the 80% hardware limit is enabled, iPad will never exceed this percentage except in rare cases to “maintain accurate battery charge estimates.” It is not charging either.
